This lovely urn is a one-of-a-kind creation by Skagit Valley artist Patsy Thola Chamberlain (1936 – 2015).
This beautifully detailed box/urn (with small tear-drop cut-outs near the lid) is covered with a pattern that was created using lace. The lid is in the shape of a pointed open roof. The external color is a medium sea blue, and the inside is lemon yellow with a sun design (also created from lace) on the inside bottom.
It’s a gorgeous and unusual piece that would be appropriate as a keepsake urn for any pet, or the primary urn for a small pet (under 10 pounds).
Special note from Bobbie Ruth Langley, President of Life Cycle Pet Cremation:
“Even though I knew Patsy was suffering from advanced emphysema, I believed that she would live a long life and continue to create these beautiful pieces. It is my hope that each of her pet urns will find its way into a special home to be cherished for a long, long time — in memory of a beloved pet, but also in appreciation of the wonder-inducing beauty of Patsy’s artistry.”
Numbered and signed by the artist.
Dimensions: 3″ square base. With lid this piece is 5″ tall.
