Requiem Vessel Lidded

Requiem Vessel Lidded

This lovely urn is a one-of-a-kind creation by Skagit Valley artist Patsy Thola Chamberlain (1936 – 2015).

This urn is somewhat special in that it was titled by the artist, and the title survived in the form of a label taped to the bottom of the urn: “Requiem Vessel Lidded.” Music, water, light…Patsy must have had these elements in mind when creating this spectacular urn.

The exterior of this urn is a creamy white with blue detail. The interior is orange with multiple swirl designs pressed into the inside bottom of the urn.

This urn is appropriate for the cremated remains of a pet weighing up to 200 lbs.

This urn could also be used as a companion pet urn for the cremated remains of several small or medium pets.

Special note from Bobbie Ruth Langley, Owner & President of Life Cycle Pet Cremation:

“This special piece was procured from Patsy’s widower, and my good friend, Ron Chamberlain in March 2017, on what was my 5th or 6th visit to Patsy’s studio in Sedro-Woolley. The studio itself is so peaceful — white walls, high windowed ceilings, Patsy’s colorful works of art everywhere — that I find it hard to leave. When I do finally pull myself away, the peaceful feeling of being there stays with me, and is easily recalled just by contemplating one of Patsy’s works of art, especially one of her urns. It is my hope that each of the select pieces available through Life Cycle will find its way into a special home to be cherished for a long, long time — in memory of a beloved pet, but also in appreciation of the wonder-inducing beauty of Patsy’s artistry.”

Numbered and signed by the artist.
