This lovely urn is a one-of-a-kind creation by Skagit Valley artist Patsy Thola Chamberlain (1936 – 2015).
This beautifully detailed urn depicts a medieval Mary and the Christ Child in relief using an expertly applied seafoam-green glaze. A dove relief graces the inside bottom. Otherwise, the exterior and interior are porcelain white.
This box/urn is a compound shape of a square with a triangle on top, suggesting a church or the alcove in a cathedral.
Appropriate as a keepsake urn for any pet, or as the primary urn for a small pet (under 15 pounds).
Special note from Bobbie Ruth Langley, President of Life Cycle Pet Cremation:
“Even though I knew Patsy was suffering from advanced emphysema, I believed that she would live a long life and continue to create these beautiful pieces. It is my hope that each of her pet urns will find its way into a special home to be cherished for a long, long time — in memory of a beloved pet, but also in appreciation of the wonder-inducing beauty of Patsy’s artistry.”
Numbered and signed by the artist.
